Often times, it's the smallest of fruits or veggies that pack the most punch. And in the case with goji berries, it's especially true. These little nuggets of magic aren't labeled as a superfood for nothin'! And they may very well just be the secret to more youthful, radiant skin. 


These dried, red berries are popping up all over more and more frequently for their powerful antioxidants which promote healthy blood pressure, increased energy, alleviating stress and anxiety, strengthening your bones and muscles, improving your vision, and even enhancing sexual function. That'd normally be more than enough perks to sell us on it but the true magic comes from the fact that goji berries stimulate the secretion of HGH in the body, which is also known as the 'youth hormone'. That in combination with the antioxidants is what gives your body the ability to extend your overall wellbeing and fight pre-mature aging. 


You can find them in the bulk section of your local Whole Foods, or even in a powder form. Soaking them in water about 10 minutes prior to use is a great way to soften them up if you're adding them into a smoothie or raw truffle recipe. You can also sprinkle them as is on top of an acai bowl, gluten free pancakes, or throw them in a homemade trail mix. They tend to be a little pricier so start off with a small amount and see how you vibe with them, but with so many amazing benefits, they can be well worth the price. Plus, they're super tasty which pretty much makes them a win-win.
